Silva LS announced the imminent delivery of 100 80-foot intermodal platforms. The company will also commission a reach stacker and a wagon shunting device for operations at the ALFA TERMINAL Szczecin siding, targeting higher transhipment capacity and improved handling efficiency.
PCC Intermodal confirmed completion of its project “Purchase of railway platforms for the PCC Intermodal S.A. connection network”. The operator acquired 100 container platforms under the same KPO instrument.
The total cost of the PCC Intermodal project amounts to PLN 63,156,810 gross, equivalent to approximately EUR 14.5m, with EU co-financing of PLN 25,671,000 (around EUR 5.9m). Funding was administered by the Centre for EU Transport Projects.
Both projects are designed to increase intermodal capacity and support modal shift from road to rail across the operators’ terminal networks in Poland.
