ÖBB, therefore, informs its passengers as a precautionary measure and asks them to postpone unnecessary journeys or to choose alternative travel options. For the time being, the negotiating partners in the collective bargaining negotiations have assured that they will try to hold another round of talks before Monday to avert the warning strike after all.
If this does happen, ÖBB will provide more detailed information on the consequences. Passengers can find details on restrictions, delays, or cancellations at oebb.at/streik, on the ÖBB social media channels, and in the SCOTTY timetable information service.
Cross-border rail traffic and night travel will also be affected. There may be cancellations of Nightjet and EuroNight connections as early as Sunday evening or until Tuesday morning.
In the event of a strike, ÖBB Standard & Sparschiene tickets will remain valid until 05.12.2022 or will be refunded.
