The upgraded graphics are integrated into the company’s railway simulators and support higher simulated speeds, up to 250 km/h, with future readiness claimed for 300–400 km/h operation.

The software overhaul includes a transition to the HDRP (High Definition Render Pipeline) standard within the Unity engine, enabling more detailed lighting, shadows, and reflections. The update affects the visual fidelity of both rolling stock and infrastructure. Enhancements include new models, improved representation of track ballast and sleepers, and the impact of weather conditions such as dirt on windscreens.

The new visual layer currently covers more than 10,000 km of railway routes, including 8,000 km in Poland. SIM Factor is positioning this update as part of its offer to support high-speed driver training, ahead of the introduction of high-speed operations in the Polish market.

SIM Factor plans to introduce the new HDRP-based graphics across its full simulator portfolio, including the full-cab motion platform, SMART mid-range models, and portable desktop units.
