Kaztemirtrans JSC, a subsidiary of KTZ, has added 65 new box wagons to its freight car fleet as part of its ongoing upgrade efforts. These box wagons meet modern standards and feature a load capacity of up to 70 tons. An additional 65 box wagons are expected to be delivered shortly, continuing the expansion of the company's freight capabilities.
The company has outlined plans to acquire around 1,500 freight cars by the end of the year. These cars are intended for transporting essential cargo such as grain, coal, and other goods crucial for the community.
Earlier this year, Kaztemirtrans purchased 242 box wagons, adding to its existing fleet. Over the past decade, the company has acquired more than 25,000 cars, reflecting a consistent effort to maintain and expand its freight transport services.
