Transit time between the Polish port and the Czech terminal is planned at two days.

Polish operator Loconi Intermodal will launch a regular intermodal rail service between the Baltic Hub terminal in Gdańsk and the Paskov terminal in Ostrava on 22 May.

The service will operate with one round trip per week, with departures from Gdańsk scheduled every Friday.

Loconi said the new route reflects growing cargo volumes in the corridor between Poland and the Czech Republic and expands the company’s intermodal network into the Czech market.

The operator stated that the connection strengthens the position of the Port of Gdańsk and Baltic Hub as logistics gateways for Central and Eastern Europe, providing Czech customers with direct rail access to Baltic Sea container flows.
