CD Cargo Poland will move 200,000 tonnes of thermal coal for Enea

The company’s bid was selected as the best offer in the tender procedure.

CD Cargo Poland has secured a contract to transport 200,000 tonnes of hard coal from mines in Silesia to the Połaniec power plant operated by the Enea Group.

The coal will be moved in trains with a gross weight exceeding 3,000 tonnes. CD Cargo Poland is deploying Dragon electric locomotives and its own fleet of freight wagons for the operation.

The contract continues CD Cargo Poland’s cooperation with Enea Group in supplying fuel to its power generation assets.
