Safe Green Logistics plans to further develop its service offering as part of its commitment to multimodal freight transport.

Safe Green Logistics has conducted the first commercial transport using its Container Transfer System (CTS) technology, moving two containers from Aalborg to DB Cargo’s terminal in Høje Taastrup near Copenhagen. The intermodal service covered approximately 400 km, with cargo destined for Sealand.

The CTS technology allows for the direct transfer of ISO containers from trucks to rail without the need for lifting equipment. The system is designed to provide an alternative for logistics customers looking to shift freight from road to rail. The company states that the technology offers potential benefits in terms of infrastructure efficiency, CO2 reductions, and cost savings.
