Grampet Group reported that two passenger coaches modernised at Electroputere VFU Pașcani and a locomotive upgraded at RELOC Craiova have completed test runs.
Coaches 35 and 36 carried out route tests last week, validating operational performance and safety parameters in service conditions. In parallel, locomotive ELASMO 016 underwent performance trials to confirm its technical behaviour and compliance with required operating parameters.
The modernisation works were delivered at Electroputere VFU Pașcani for the coaches and at RELOC Craiova for the locomotive. Both facilities are part of the Grampet Group’s rolling stock manufacturing and maintenance operations.
The projects form part of a broader fleet renewal programme supported by PNRR funding and focused on upgrading existing rolling stock for continued operation on the Romanian network.
