Streem Group has completed the acquisition of VTG’s tank container fleet as part of its expansion in the tank container leasing market. From 1 February 2026, the fleet is being operated under the Eurotainer and Raffles Lease brands.
The company said the newly acquired assets have been fully integrated into its existing operations, with no disruption to customers or ongoing contracts. The transaction increases Streem’s presence in global tank container leasing, which supports chemical and liquid bulk transport by rail, road and sea.
The takeover follows a broader trend among lessors to consolidate fleets and strengthen operational resilience in intermodal equipment markets. Tank containers play a growing role in rail-linked supply chains, particularly for chemical, energy and food-related cargo flows.
