Rail Business Days 2025 will showcase the latest rail vehicles, including the revolutionary ComfortJet and the battery-powered RegioPanter.

Visitors to this year's Rail Business Days, which will take place from 10 to 12 June 2025 in Ostrava, Czech Republic, can look forward to a unique showcase of modern railway technologies. More than twenty different rail vehicles will be on display on almost 800 metres of exhibition tracks, presented by leading manufacturers, transport companies and institutions in the field of rail transport.

One of the main attractions will be the ComfortJet, a brand new high-speed train developed in cooperation between České dráhy (Czech Railways), Siemens Mobility and the Škoda Group. This modern train sets a new standard for long-distance transport and has been designed with an emphasis on maximum passenger comfort, low noise, barrier-free access and cutting-edge technology.

Another key exhibit is the Škoda Group's battery-powered RegioPanter 690.2 series - an innovative solution for regional transport on non-electrified lines. This train can combine trolleybus and battery operation, offering an environmentally friendly and flexible alternative to diesel units.

Other interesting exhibits include:

  • NEWAG's DRAGON 2 - a powerful six-axle electric locomotive for freight transport
  • Stadler Rail's RS ZERO - an alternative traction unit that leads the way to zero emission rail transport
  • Catenary Crafter 12.5 from Plasser & Theurer - a specialised machine for catenary maintenance
  • and a class 475 steam locomotive from the DB Cargo Czechia fleet, which will delight lovers of railway nostalgia

CZ LOKO vehicles will also be present at the fair, including locomotives 744.1, 742.7 and EffiShunter 1000, another modernised RegioPanter from České dráhy and technological vehicles from Správa železnic.
