The concession includes an additional investment of around EUR 5m to expand bulk storage capacity by 36,000 m³, increasing total capacity to 54,000 m³.

Tracción Rail has been awarded a 25-year contract to operate the Salamanca Intermodal Rail Terminal (Puerto Seco).

The terminal will be managed through a newly established company based in Salamanca, open to investors seeking to develop traffic flows at the site. The structure is intended to support commercial development of the facility within national and international logistics chains.

The Salamanca terminal was built by Azvi. It is designed to handle intermodal and bulk traffic and to connect with major European freight corridors, positioning it within Spain’s inland logistics network.

The planned storage expansion will increase the terminal’s capacity for bulk commodities, enabling higher throughput and consolidated operations at the site.
