VIA Rail Canada has announced the arrival of its new fleet in Southwestern Ontario, part of a plan to upgrade the entire Québec City-Windsor corridor. The transition to the new fleet provided by Siemens Mobility will be phased, with 63% of the trains expected to be operational by the end of 2024. The complete replacement of the old trains is set for summer 2025.
