ČD Cargo: change in management

The General Assembly of ČD Cargo, has strengthened the company's Board of Directors with Robert Heděnec, an experienced economist and former CFO of ČD Cargo.

At the same time, Zbyszek Wacławik is stepping down from his position as of today.

This change comes at a crucial time when ČD Cargo has to adapt to the dynamic development of the rail freight market in Poland and abroad, the company says.

Strengthening the company's economic stability and initiating restructuring are key steps to ensure ČD Cargo's long-term competitiveness in the sector, they add.
